Well, some things just kinda sneak up on you, right?
As some of you may know I'm going to be moving back to the SF Bay Area at the end of the month (about 85 miles from where I live now) and that of course means that I'll be leaving my job.
I was at work today and was working at a station with 2 other coworkers and my shop manager and a coworker randomly goes "So is it true you're leaving us at the end of the month?" Now... I only told one coworker, a driver, that I was leaving because he's talked to me a couple of times about leaving as well.
I don't lie so naturally I respond with "Why yes. I hadn't planned on passing that information about quite yet but well {turning to my manager} I guess that's my notice, Brandon" And of course afterwords I had to go ahead and put in my formal written notice to the powers that be since there was no point in letting it linger or anything any more.
Lesson here? If you want a secret- YOU CAN'T TELL ANYONE AT ALL EVER WITH NO EXCEPTIONS!
Lesson learned.
Who's up for hanging out down in the bay? Where are all you bay kids? I'll be down in American Canyon (right next to Vallejo and about 3 miles from the Six Flags there.)
