Well, I've got a few things coming up. OK, I guess it's really one thing but I've got some stuff I need to get done for it. I'm a groomsman in a wedding coming up next Sunday which will be my first time wearing a tuxedo so that'll be pretty awesome. The groom also requested that I have a mohawk for the event so I grew it out specifically for that after decided I was gonna have the mo' no mo'. So.... Tux with a mohawk. Again- bonus.

And for most of you that don't really know me that well I am a very specific kinda gift giver. I will NOT, NEVER EVER buy someone something from a list. EVER. I will also never buy someone something that they directly ask for. Not my style. Hell, I've been known to return gifts when after purchasing they, in random conversation say "Hey, you know what I'd really like?" In my head I go "SHIT!! Now I gotta return it!!"

Anywho, for this wedding, due to my gift giving style and the fact that I'm pretty goll dang broke I wrote the couple a song. Lyrics, Mandolin, Guitar, a little violin accompaniment if I can pull it off, and I have almost finished recording it. So what I'll be doing if giving them a copy of the track on CD and a framed page of the lyrics printed all nice and such. I'm pretty happy with that choice I think. Now I just gotta finish recording the vocals over the course of the next week.
