Hi everyone. I just checked the great set @damsel @brewin and @dimples made, named Jilly Bean shot by @alissa ... The set his great and the girls are perfect as usually, they are just goddess. But the plants are pretty ugly from an expert eye, so im gonna point out all the rookie mistake that i can see from here.
1- The lights are in cool box which is perfect but the lighting distance is way too far. The lighting distance for a 1000watts is 24 inches which can be even closer cause of the cool box. If closer the buds wiuld have been more compact and the stretch of the plants would have been less and of course the trychome would contain more thc.
2- The size of the pots. In the picture above you can actually see the roots coming out through the bag, which means its rootbond even at this lil size, so imagine the size of those monster how the roots are choking in there.
3- Dont ever use dirty unless you grow outside. Too hard to controle ph, controle pests and controle mushrooms. And feeding is a pain in the ass cause dirt already contain nutrient so if you over feed in anything and try to rinse your soil...its simply impossible cause the soil straight away contain that nutriebt that is in excess. Should use coco
4- Distance between plants. The plants are so tight together that they are causing too much shades to one another.
5- Plants are underfed. You can see this simply by 2 things. A perfectly fed plant will have just the tip of the leaves that will turn yellow. Or at the very very end of flowering like the last week and rinse cause the plant shove everything in its buds or theres no more nutrient coming (rinse). And those are obviously not ready yet or the plants are soooo choking that low and slow shitty production.
****just a notice: check the baby plant how at one point the head splits in 2.... Thats caused by topping the plant. But only sativa and sativa dominant will split in 2, indica will just grow one branche from the side of the cut.
6- THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF ALL.... When you know theres 3 mega babes coming to your grow to shoot a photo set... Take those yellow leaves off!!!!!!
