Took the found cat to the vet today, and racked up a nice bill with shots and x-rays etc... Sad thing about it is that it turns out he has a broken hip, and I know that I can't afford the cost of surgery. 
My guy offered to help pay, and insists it's no big deal, but I feel bad about it. It's SO expensive. The cat is a real sweetheart though. And if I do end up keeping him he will need to be able to get around and defend himself against my cat. I was really hoping for a better prognosis, but felt in my heart that was what they would say.
I really wish I could find out who this cat belongs to! I have looked for postings in my area, online, and with the SPCA with no luck. It pains me to think that someone lost him, and may not even be looking to find him. I would be so freaked out if something happened to my Michka

i love cats. there the coolest animal out there.i miss my cat that i had when i was a kid. his name was ralph he was the best cat ever. i found when he was a kitten.

I can't imagine losing one of my kitties and not entirely losing my mind!!! You're really doing a good thing here...
