You know...no one ever addresses the fact that Olive Oyl was a single mother. Nor did she have any means of income that I can see. How exactly did she support her kidlet? What happened to da man who planted the seed, eh? Clearly it was not Popeye...or Bluto...or Brutus for that matter (the horndogs). And I'll tell you what - Swee' Pea was constantly crawling around on construction beams and what not with nary a parent's care. DYFUS would have been all over that shit.
