Yesterday weighed me down - shitty day at work - shitty people on all sides of me on the sidewalks - shitty people in cars - shitty I tell you. But coming home to my two favorite people in the world washes it all away and I can start over again - watching the new litter of kittens playing in the abandoned vine covered dilapidated crumbling brownstone next door. Explaining to my daughter that the momma cat is quite fond of her little trio of babies and would not take kindly to our removing one of them.... seeing her delight in the waking dawn as we watch together silently from the window as they wobble on new found legs and fall over...a lot. Mexican Espresso from the corner store in this dark neighborhood mass of destruction and mayhem.
I had a lovely chat last night with a woman who I was meant to know...you know who you are...thank you...
