This made me weep.

Then I moved on with the rest of my day, mundane as it was . . . highlights included COMICBOOK day! I've told myself not to get totally sucked into that wonderful world of flight and fancy, but alas, that is not meant to be. Now that I've got something in the works with my dearest brother, 2006 promises to be the start of a bold new era. Sheesh. I also signed up with a comic subscription service. Oy. But did you read the most recent "Infinite Crisis?" Holy shit, Batman! Also got two volumes of Courtney Love's manga comic "Princess AI." One thing's for sure, no capes in my comic.

Another mall excursion find: "4 Dogs Playing Poker" on VHS. Hands up, anyone know that one? John Taylor and Steve Jones are in this one--credited as "Duran Duran's John Nigel Taylor and Stephen Phillip Jones of the Sex Pistols." Score. Note to y'all, take me out anywhere and I'll find the needle in the haystack.

Off to read the Dane Cook article in this month's Penthouse. And I do read the articles, especially the reader's letters section. Later, faithful readers . . .
