D is doing better, so thanks for all the good vibes. At least his color is back. The ghastly pale thing was starting to scare me. He actually drove 1/3 of the way back home, too. I kept checking his temperature from the passenger side. From toasty burny to clammy chilly. So weird to see him sick.
In other news, I'm 90% going to NY. There couldn't be a worse week for it -- time-wise, school-wise, financial-wise, endlessly -- but there are so many other more compelling reasons to go. Namely 3 compelling reasons: Albertine, Bunny and risamarie. Seriously, when else will all 3 of these women be in the same place at the same time ... and even accessible to me, to boot! The planets have indeed aligned. Time to scheme. And by scheme I mean to say, uh, work on projects. Fruitful projects. Yeah.
Now someone just write this paper for me and can I send a clone to be there for my love's best friend's birthday weekend while I'm at it?
