My legs were scratched and bloody, cactus needles stuck in them, shoes caked in black river mud, ankle twisted, burrs stuck to clothes, lungs burning . . . 
fuck I love it (except for the mesquite). It had been too long since last trekking aimlessly into the bleak wilderness but David was down to hike. No batteries=No pics, so have to go back to that crazy ass canyon/river/wasteland.
Paid bills, finished laundry, dog food, food, smoked, cartoons, showered before pipes bust and spray again

Have to leave everything dripping. House is ancient. Aminals all snuggle up, use collective heat . . . I pay bills, damnit!

We have here ducks, quail, foxes, skunks, owls, hawks, doves, eagles, turkeys, raccoons, bobcats, mountain lions, deer, coyotes , porcupines, bunnies! . . . jackelopes? . . . but no jaguars. Not since the Europeans came, there is no longer American power in the northern desert 
I need a jaguar . . . might not get along with dogs . . . or cougars. Still, badass cats. Tangent terminated.
