When it rains, it pours. Has anybody else noticed how hard it is to trust anyone, lately? I've always been a very trusting person because that's the way I want people to treat me, in return... it's come back to bite me hard in the last few days, with the last person I thought I could trust telling me otherwise today.

If we're social animals and those of us who admit to being animals realize that, then why wouldn't we do our best to assist the others in our social network? False pretenses (sp?), lies, and otherwise lack of trust are not things that anybody wants for themselves, but why would they turn around and do the same to others? Lack of testicles on a man's part is one thing...but do women just revert back to highschool drama if they need something exciting to do?

Is there anybody out there who is left to be trusted? If so, please point me in that direction. I'm not sure I belong around the parts I'm in now.
