I've had a raging toothache off-and-on for the last day, and I'm hoping it'll end soon, because I'll have to pay for a trip to the dentist out of pocket if it doesn't.
It's one thing when you don't feel well and look like shit and it's hot outside, but it's another thing for the above to occur simultaneously, and have a couple people in the subway or on the bus, stare at you. I wasn't in the mood to pretend like I didn't care or notice today. Girls like my friend Kristen, who don't think twice about and are fully capable of telling someone to go fuck themselves randomly, don't know how much a girl like myself wishes for that ability, sometimes. If I ever told someone off, I'd probably be clocked over the head.
Although my father did say over the phone this afternoon that, "Sometimes, Judy, you can be real nasty."
I had one of those days in class where you realize you have a mountain of assignments and research to do and papers to write, in a short period of time; which is the joy of taking two courses in one 6-week session. So I'll be spending most of my time in various libraries, museums and bookstores. If anyone feels like tagging along and throwing paper airplanes at me, feel free to let me know.
