I wish I had someone to listen to Elton John with.

I called my friend out in Vegas, to see how she's feeling. She's due to have her baby between the 19th and 29th of this month. I am looking forward to that more than I thought I would. I hope things for her stay as well as they've been going. She moved in with this guy, got pregnant and married in about a year, at 19 years old. And she's doing a good job, I'm happy for and proud of her. When I tell her that I need to move out soon, she keeps telling me to drop everything and go live on their sofa until I get a job and can find a place. If I could somehow secure a job out there, and would go with money saved up, I'd consider it. I'm just too broke a bastard for illustrious plans of skipping town and moving out west.
