My attempt at sleeping off the allergy-related headache failed, so if anyone feels like coming by to punch me out cold, I don't think I'd mind.

I didn't go to my first day of English class last Saturday (yes, Saturday), because I wasn't feeling so hot.
Today I had every intention of making it there by its start at 9:15am.
The only thing I really needed to do was find out which building and room it was in. I could have done this at any point during the week, after a...

I have some tips to beat procrastination. I'll post them some time.

That poem is a bit steamy, eh?
acetracer:
I had to take a Literary Analysis class at 8:15 in the fucking morning on a Saturday. A university of 30,000 students, it was a ghost town at that time. You can thank my perpetual procrastination at picking the last friggin empty seated class that fulfilled my requirement.

I was late almost every class, but I always blamed it on the bus I took to get there; which means I had to leave at like 7 in the morning from my house. Ack.

When the class was finally over, which for some reason I did awesome in even though I never read any book or passage we were given, the professor actually asked me to join his invite only creative writing class.

I got that all the time; in high school as well. I appreciate that everyone thinks I have some kind of knack for writing, but it only seems to get me into trouble. Even today, I wrote one business proposal for our company a year ago, and now I had to write every little fucking thing that we put out. Sigh.

Here are a few things you may or may not know about me.

I am cheesily, hopelessly and pussily a romantic. Heaven help you if you happen to watch Sleepless in Seattle with me, because I will either cry or let out "aww's" and sighs enough so that your head caves in. Now don't get me wrong, I know that this isn't a terribly uncommon...

I'll try not to do the first, and I never do the second because I worked as a grocer when I was a teen, that shit pissed me off.

1# thing that pisses me off. Whiny rich people. Fuck them.

"My God, if this thread wasn't so full of Pathetic, I might be inclined to post something." - you're my new hero!

Talking to yourself when you're alone is fine. Talking to yourself when you're walking down the street is a worry.

You know what I hate? Trying to tear out the deposit slips that come with your checks, at the end of the book. Because I almost always bend that semi-cardboard back cover to shit, and manage to rip the hell out of the top half of the slip despite valiant attempts at tearing along the perforated line. And why can't they just give you an...

Alrighty then, my eyes weren't deceiving me! Hmmm, he was more than a LITTLE fascinated by SNG's member; he touched it with BOTH his hand AND his butt!!!
(I told him he should sell his shorts with the silver penis mark on E-Bay...)

I'm really tired. I've grown quite accustomed to doing nothing for whole days, when I was taking just one class and only worked two or three days out of the week. But since the middle of June, I haven't really had an entire day devoted to being indolent.

I spent about eight hours hitting several tourist attractions in Manhattan today, with my uncle and three...

Why the fishing? Feeling insecure?
No need me thinks.

Was VP of a company with offices in ESB once...nice address, nice view, fucking awful lifts. But thanks for the pics, I never bothered when I was there.
You say you like older men..older than what?

I like younger women ....but they have to pass the lights out test. Eye candy can be very boring if there's nothing between the ears.

Is that what you look like when you wake up in the morning? If so, I've seen worse.

I had reached a point where I was relatively content with being alone, and had no interest in putting myself out there for awhile, just so I could halt the growing list of Things That Others Point Out In Me That I Hate About Myself. But the shit kicks in when you see that couple, obviously in love, being cute in the same subway car...

You put all of that in the past tense, so I am confused. Have you moved on? I thought from your reply to my question about having someone to meet you at the airport that you were hooked up in some way. No?

As to the alienation that you talk about, I get it these days with people who have kids. I love kids - think that they are great little people most of the time. Their parents on the other had think that the world is all about them. It puts me in the kind of reflective mood you describe. Am I jealous? Jaded? Or just basically misanthropic?

I pretty much always land on the last one.

I figure on some level I am always going to be putting up with someone's shit. In fact the reason one reason that I no longer play around is that I know, once the passion flares down, I will still be with me and with me it is always the same, no matter whose eyes I am lookin into.

I am so glad to be back home.
Speeding towards New York at 600 miles an hour is a good feeling; the only downside to my flight this afternoon, were the couple dozen screaming, miserable children sitting in front of and behind me.

I love life.

Here are a few of the gazillion pictures I took.

My mother and her boyfriend, Frank, drove me through...
