....well im off on a 9- hour train journey in like 2hours.....im so excited i can barely type, i havent been on a real adventure for so long...its gonna be fuckn so rad...i really can't believe ive saved enough dosh without giving into temptation to spend!!.....its been so rainy as of late that ive just buried myself in books and dvds....its been awesome...
...so yeah for once i have enough money to have a week long holiday in my favourite city and enough dosh to indulge in a bit of hedonism, which brings a smile to my face...
...im really confident about my film being shown, which is surprising, i thought id be a bag of nerves!...well maybe for the Q&A part after...but im sure i can deal with it...apparently some film industry people are gonna be there, so ill make the best impression i can...plus my film is on the first night, so yay i can chill out every other day and drink foreign beers in the beautiful winter, where the sky is that ethereal deep blue colour...
..im planning on doing lots of sightseeing, both in wellington and ill hopefully make it to the south island...which will be super-exciting since ive never been there (fuckin lameass i know!!) ill be like a little kid on the Ferry all wide-eyed an excited...and yeh spend the rest exploring, gettn blazed with my headphones on and just wandering around the beautiful town that Wellington is...and they have really rad record stores...so i can't wait!!...i have a digital camera with me so ill hopefully get some cool footage to post...although the fuckwits at the lending place wouldn't give me the really megaed-out pixel one i desired cause i finished my teaching contract...which really annoyed me, seems i just morph into someone else in their eyes! wheres the humanity!!!..anyway i managed to get a camera so ill just do some frame grabs, whip them to photoshop so i can post some pics
...well i better go finish packing all my stuff, im all warm in my SG hoodie and ready to travel throw the ntie, ive already made a mixed cd spanning 9 hours, i saved the best for last so when the sun is rising, i can go outside on the train, smoke a cone, crank my headphones and trascend reality..
