So I did something tonight I've only done rarely in the past. I put it all out there and hoped for success. Denied.
But she just got divorced. I mean, that's a good reason, right? She said she'd let me know when it all cleares up. But I get the feeling she's just letting me down easy. They always let me down easy. Seriously. Always.
It doesn't taste any better than a straight, cold rejection, though.
