The red paint reflects
A secret~
The tigers bite mark,
A lie.
And on these streets
I used to drive,
Because i was too afraid to walk,
I felt so alive.
The big, silver streetlamp gleam.
The rain caressing these little bits
Of secret skin.
Lips shimmer in the starlight.
My arms wrapped tight
Around myself, and
How id sneak back
Through those holy stares.
I, so very far from holy.
And all i could do
Was smile,
Because i didnt know what
To say,
Or even what i should say,
Or if i should be saying
Anything.
Silence
Pick up stick stacked
Between, amongst,
Laughter,
Smirks and dirty eyes.
Silence
Painted in dark coloured oils
Over Munchs and this rooms
Screams.
Little
I love yous,
I hate this,
I want to breathe you,
Taste you,
Fuck you,
Scars
Etched into skin
Id never let her touch.
Miniscule pieces
Of no one
Like anyone, but me
Left in the ashes
On little grey pebbles
Where i would sit,
Waiting for the cold
Night air to come,
Swallow my fever, and
Crumble the shell
Of this
Last phoenix egg.
