I was skateboarding to work this morning. As soon as I crossed 4th street I noticed this guy's pace quickening behind me. I thought nothing of it at first but then he caught up to me after I hit a red light on Ocean. He asked to use my skateboard, did some tricks, fell on his side/stomach, and I helped him up. He started speaking really fast, something like "...stop following me and help me up..." He took the cigarette out of my hand, took a drag, and then gave it back. Um...no. Thanks. I thought he'd continue down Pine once we crossed because he was very determined in his walking. As soon as I turned sharply to walk up the driveway to my building, I heard him make a rapid turn as well. In the glass doors I could see his reflection behind me. I tried not to pay attention, but he was walking very briskly, so I went through our suite glass doors and promptly locked the door behind me.

I don't know if he's still out there. It's been half an hour, so I doubt it, but still.
