So Saturday one of my friends came by, said they were in the area and wanted to say hi. About five minutes later another friend bursts in, saying the same thing. A few more minutes pass and finally a third friend shows up, also just happening to be "in the area". Two of these guys I hadn't seen in over a year, so this weekend's surprise visit by my friends was a very good thing.
Needless to say, I had a blast the last couple days, though I'm not drinking for a while. My poor poor liver.
They took off today, but we'll likely all be hanging out again sometime in December.

EDIT: Yeah, the whole not drinking thing. That didn't happen. My liver can suffer another night.
