Another attack in France tonight... A truck plowed into people during the Bastille Day fireworks in Nice... When will that end, for fuck's sake?!
When 9/11 happened, I was just a kid. It was also my birthday, so I've always had a special link with this event. I'll never forget it, and I'll always remember the horror I felt this day, because I'd never seen anything like this before.
Still, I was only 10, and it had happened in a country "far, far away" for the little kid I was.
But now that I'm a grown man, every attack hits me with the same strenght. Two attacks in Paris in 2015, one in Bruxelles, hundreds of deaths in Turkey and in Bagdad, Orlando...
What can we do against so much hate? What can we do to overcome such atrocities?
Take care of yourselves, everyone. And just love each other. Life's too short to waste it hating and raging, especially when a bunch of fucktards try to make it even shorter.
