i don't know what the hell i've been doing but i just listened to that really minimal new ulver track (from the link you posted) and they're NOTHING like what i thought they were! whatever, because now i'm going to have to listen to everything they've ever made! thanks so much for posting that link, sometimes i get lazy with music and i can't be bothered to look around for new stuff.

Yes Ulver, I hung out with Garm for a few days in Oslo back in 97..great guy. Also thanks for the link its been I while since I heard their tunes. Far from the black metal or folk recordings they were once known for ..but as always very progressive and solid.

Rush was great at Staples Center. And I love Show of Hands. Most people knock the Power Windows era, but I love their use of synths. It's hugely influential to me.
