so here's a funny story i've been meaning to put in my journal. but it's also kind of gross. i was at a coffeehouse and a kid behind the counter with hair that looked like a wig the color of earwax pointed out a gay couple seated nearby. it was a transvestite and a hispanic bling bling flamer. the hbb flamer had a white polo shirt on and a mr.t array of gold chains. then i noticed the circle of blood on the back of his shirt. i was told by dirty q-tip boy that the blood was not there when he sat down, hence he must have ruptured a pimple or boil on his back. you know, lanced it with the chair or something and it bled horribly onto his shirt. so then as they're leaving and we're snickering, a fellow stops them and points out the blood by saying, "hey, did you know you've got a huge stain on your shirt?"
it was horrible. i would have been embarrased for him, but i was too grossed out.
in other news, the lawn that had previously grown above my head has been contained. i have mowed. i have wacked. i have basted my tender meat in sweat for the mosquitos to deliver west nile virus to my unsuspecting bloodstream. it was me against nature. and i won. man one, nature zero.
mogwai is coming in sept. so mark your calenders on the 10th as a reason to be in raleigh. or chapel hill rather.
and finally, i was watching bill moher on hbo and he had jeneane garafallo (sp?) on the panel and she is soooooo hot
i already thought she was perfect with her cherub cuteness and smart and funny wit, but now she's blond, tattooed and feisty(ier). she's slimmed down and i guess that's okay, but she was fine with the baby pudge. and i do prefer brunettes. but damn, she has sooooo hot!!!
