Im having the time of my life right now, my 5 day weekend is most agreeable so far, lol!
I played probably one of the nicest gigs I have ever played last night, for a friends promotion project called "Howards Front Room" at The Globe in Letchworth, it was probably one of the most awesome live experiances I have had, not just because I got a great reception from the crowd packed in there but also because of the general feel of the night. Every band that played were really nice people and had no pretension to speak of surrounding them, the atmosphere was lovely, everyone was great! It was a chilled but emotionally intense experiance for all the right reasons, it was refreshing and exhilarating...
Tonight should be fun too, its a friends birthday and I shall be popping along to my local to help them celebrate. I will be on the J20 tonight though as I am going to spend my early evening sparring and meditating with a good friend of mine. He is a enlightened and deep individual with genuine warmth and compassion mixed with mischief, he is also a physically gifted fighter and sparring partner, he definetly the sort of guy you go to if you need the right mix between Mr Miyagi and Pai mei!
Tomorrow is a incredibly important anniversary for me, and a important reminder that its good be alive....
