here we are...roadside hotel. watching Reno 911 and click-clacking away..dial-up...
Day off driving. stopped multiple times. took a picture of a snail next to this picnic bench where some of us ate. Saw "freedom fries" written on a menu. bought a spirograph for no reason other than it was a buck and it was there.
the wind felt like drugs. it was amazingly cool after what seemed like a week in muggy florida. no I don't hate florida. I think it's funny. it's full of weirdos and, maybe for that it's great. but it also weirds me out.
stopped in Savannah cause most of us hadn't been there. went with the merch lady to find a pool table and a makers and only read the sign that said "pool table" and not "live entertainment". when 2 makers rocks cost $14 I looked around, "oh, a stage..." we were in a kinda beat strip club with two haggard but nice ex-stripper looking ladies. one seemed to be like 64 and the other was probably in her 40's. played some good chunes on the jukebox as E put my ass in the ground at pool.
Was it me? then it's certainly nice to meet YOU. even if not, it's nice to meet ya.
tomorrow I'll see some friends, it might get rowdy in Chapel Hill. Good. I think everyone's pretty loose at this point.
I'm still a sucker for a good sunset.

it IS nice to meet you...
though it was a ridiculous response to my "who do i think i am"
again i thank you
always a sucker for a sunset. and i'm growing to love the sunrise, too... this morning it just hurt to take my eyes off the rearview mirror as i drove west for work.
beautimous.
cut loose. i need that soon, too. i think this weekend calls for a bottle of wine and my one-hitter.
and i have to say, i love the way you lost it.
i think i'm jealous. heh
