just had a visit from Ms. Jones...thats what we'll call her. i must be doin something right to keep her comin back. It must be my razor sharp wit or perhaps my boyish good looks...or is the cooking? It could be that I'm a good lay but the jury is still out on that one. But in anycase she is still comin back so who really cares right?
i drank too much coffee and now my hand is shaking....ahh make it stop!
so hows that weather? its really something huh?
ok serious time....uh oh huh.. Today while doing my reading for class tomorrow I triggard a very unhappy memory. I was reading about lamentation in Greece and the role of women in the process of death and I was reminded of my friends funeral last year. It was a traditional Indian ceremony. This article was describing the role of women and I was reminded of the women at the funeral and the way in which they were greiving. It was almost identicle to what was being described in the article. What I remeber most was his mother. I'll never forget her face. You see my friend had decided to take his own life by jumping in front of a train. He hadn't been "ok" in months and we as friends did all we could to try to help him but in the end it was no use. He had been acting extreamliy awkward that week and we intervined as best we could. But talking to him was no use so we contacted his family and the proper authorities to try to intervine. He went home the next day and two days later he was dead. We all went to the funeral and after his family asked us over. They had so many questions and we tried to answer them best we could. They just wanted some understanding to why and how it got like it did. We had no good explanation. I'll never forget the way his mother and sister looked that day.
sorry that was a random depressing tangent but hey whats a journal for right?
the world is a funny place.
