San Diego was good, didn't do much. Highlight was my birthday. I did a round of the bars with a couple friends. Danced with some pretty girls and went home to a 40 oz. bottle of Old English. It was calling my name. Other than that I visted family. Had some good conversations with my grandmother and quinched my thirst in a well of history. Trips home leave me flustered. Too much to deal with and going there forces me to immerse myself with in it. These are problems I can not fix or change, the outcomes have already been decided and the results have hurt me a great deal to say the least. The answeres were not mine to give.
Everyone has something they wish to escape from.
I've also been reading and writting alot as of late. Someone gave me a book containing the complete writtings of Thoreau for my birthday. I've been playing with that for the past few days.
I watched quite a bit of old movies. Chaplin, Hitchcock, and Kubrick. They really did some cool stuff.
Other than petty little moments like this my life hasn't changed that much in a year. I can not look back and see anything I've acomplished over the past year. In someways I guess this is some what depressing but these kind of moments are to be expected in life, right?
This entry makes me sound like an ass.
