Let me tell you something about running a large-scale retail website - there is no limit to the amount of things that need to get done, EVER.
First, a bit of background. Mich and I run the Lip Service website - ALL of it. We maintain the retail website, manage inventory, handle customer service, the whole shebang. That's the easy part.
We also handle the marketing and advertising for the online store. THAT is the time-sucker, because, well, the internets are just so BIG. We're developing all kinds of online campaigns, developing communities, really workin' the web to bring the store and company more exposure and sales. It's rather daunting, but also very cool. I mean, come on, it's LIP SERVICE!
The really cool part of this gig is the Lip Service blog that we've created and are constantly developing. Photo galleries, press archives, articles, videos, freakin' EVERYTHING - and we get to create and develop all of it! It's really brilliant, I have to say.
So, all in all, we are busting our asses and working like maniacs, but we're having a damn good time doing it.
