nothing of interest to note today. if anyone here is into music games, i recommend joining the steam community and downloading ($10, http://www.steampowered.com/v/index.php) Audiosurf. it's like an action-racer-tetris-guitar hero hybrid that lets you use your own mp3s (or iTunes if you're an iTool. i keed, i keed.)
speaking of music games, i'm either gonna get guitar hero 3, aerosmith, or on tour this week, i'll update later on this entirely unimportant info.
IN THE LATEST FUCK THE POLICE NEWS, RIGHT OUTTA MY AREA...
Police officer given paid vacation for beating defenseless prisoner!
(i found less online than i heard on the news already, so i'll fill in the blanks afterwards.)
http://www.whtm.com/news/stories/0608/530924.html
A drunken driving suspect says three Harrisburg police officers beat him while he was in a holding cell waiting for a court appearance.
Ryan Westover of Steelton says he was punched in the face, choked, stomped and kicked inside the holding cell at police headquarters after his May 18 arrest. The 22-year-old says one of the officers even admitted punching him in the face.
Westover was pulled over for running a red light in Harrisburg as he was driving home from a bar. He's been released on his own recognizance.
Police chief Charles Kellar says an internal investigation is under way, and Dauphin County detectives are looking into Westover's allegations.
Sean Welby, an attorney for the police union, isn't commenting on the case.
(okay, the police report clearly states that the suspect was not violent or resistive at the arrest site. it was only inside that the beating happened, after he was handcuffed. the picture of him looks like he got jumped by a group of 20 men, it's fucking rediculous. one of the 3 police involved has been given paid time off while the investigation is underway...)
Clean the streets, kill a cop.
