Had a very laidback and wonderful trip back east.
New York was " wicked cool". I got along with many strangers on my visit there. Lot's of eating, drinking in bars and record shopping. It was nice going with people who knew something about the city and how to get around. I get lost easily and I'm sure that without their help I would have been miserable.
Saw Ted Leo in Providence at a shit hole called Giza. Tacky night club made to look like ancient Egypt. The place smelled like ass and piss. The bartenders were at best, very naive. Ted ruled. He is the Jam for our generation.

Boston was disapointing. Half of our group were not feeling well after eating so so Mexican food. This made exploring the city a bit of a strain. Lot's of shops had closed and moved on. In therir places were Urban Outfitters, GAP's and over priced shoe stores.

For being a boring state Conneticut wasn't that bad. I had great Sushi in New Haven. I'm bad at remembering names but I may have a card stashed away somewhere. A deluxe breakfast at O'Rourkes in Middletown.

I could go on but I'm getting bored of typing and the phone is ringing.....
