I got it!!
I've always wanted to take swing dancing lessons so I'm going to do it. If anyone has NYC recommendations of where to go it's always appreciated. I can do a google search easy enough but I do prefer word of mouth.
It would be perfect if I could find a wintertime class. That would take care of 2 birds with one stone since I get nasty seasonal depression and this is something that I feel really excited about. And it's a good reason to look my best, .... but fuckin-a .... being a girl can be really taxing and tiring. The hair styling and makeup and usually if it looks good it's not comfortable. Ponytails and comfy clothes need a kick in the balls. But seriously, they are so nice for the sleep-in-dash-n-go.
Aaaand the closet needs a cleaning so I've started some albums with the stuff I'll be selling here and in the swap meet thread soon. Some of it is already sold, so at some point tonight/soon I will update and remove those.
I'm still being thrown off of my regular commute because of the hurricane, but the one upside to the increase in fair and all over pain in the ass of taking the bus and subway opposed to just taking the subway.. is I get to hang out at a cemetery for a little bit every day.
Did I mention we had a snow storm 2 days ago?
This was the snowfall within a few hours. It's mostly gone now.
