So, last weekend I went home to St.Louis to see my Grandmother for one of the last times. She's not going to be with us much longer. And alzheimers has hit very heavily. When I first arrived she knew who I was, asked how New York is even asked after Sam. But she didn't recognize me for the rest of the visit.
The whole family came in from all directions of the US. My sister and her husband and the 3 kids. Mom, Roy, Julie my step sister. Uncles, Aunts, and a whole slew of people I don't even know.
The next day all of the immediate family went to Six Flags since we had a group of children all 10 and under so that it would be a good family visit too. I invited my best friend Kathi to come out since she's as much a part of my family and her son Zee (zacharia). It ended up being the perfect weather and all 10 of us had a very perfect day.
The camera didn't really come out much, I have to steal them form my Mom when she gets around to it.
All in all it was as perfect as I could have asked for to see my family again since we don't always get along either. My sister is usually a bitch.
