I'm staying at a friends place, the apartment was canvased that night with no turn outs. Andy and I don't feel safe in that part of the neighborhood anymore because we have been so active that everyone knows our face.
So have plans to find another apartment, but we are going to lay low for a while. Last night Andy stopped into the gas station near the apartment that we frequent a lot and was tailed within a block from where we are staying. So nerves are on high right now.
The matter is you don't know what's going to happen or why the drugs got stashed there, but matter of it is that by us doing the right thing and turning it in we fucked a dealer, most likely, out of $3,000 and people have gone down for much much less.
I've made a few trips to the apartment and have started removing as much as I can without bringing a lot of attention like a giant uhaul truck. Had my first armed escort the other day from a military friend that I've gone to the firing range with.
I'm ok, but I'm fucking scared.

The suburbs obviously still have some crime, but not as much Im sure.
