It just occured to me that I haven't posted this yet:
I'm going to be in Florida from this Saturday (3rd) to wednesday (7th). Going down to visit my Mom in Seabring. We're hitting Disney land Sunday, it's always been a big dream for my Mom to take her daughters there. Even though we are now 25 and 27. It's still awesome and the thought makes her cry. <3 Mom.
Since making my last post, of course I've been doing a bit of research on things I'm planning at the moment and unfortunately apprenticing to pierce doesn't look like it's going to happen. In a city this size there's not much work for it and everyone is trying to change my mind on doing it, not friends mind you but the piercers themselves because there's no money in it as a career here. I'm a bit depressed on it, but I may apprentice anyway because it's always been a passion and I don't care about the money I just want to have the skill.
I started getting a lot of info together on making my own latex, thats still in the works. Except I can't afford materials yet.
And I got lazy on getting my site together, that may not happen.
Because going to Florida has entirely thrown my schedule off modelign has been pushed back too. Not just by me though, so I don't feel so bad.
I'm trying to get myself to be more social online with forums and what not. I used to enjoy being a part of an online community, but now it's difficult to get me to sit at a computer long enough.
Still hoping to find a photographer in st.louis that doesn't suck to get a SG set up or possibly one from out of town that doesn't want a kick ass location because, sorry... there arent many here. Period. It's an old industrial city that doesn't function anymore. And all the old factories are still owned and you need permission to be in them. And I'm sure everyone here has seen enough forest sets.
For those of you who don't know, I'm putting myself through a home schooling program because I was removed from school as a kid and didn't get my diploma and the GED system here is a joke. I'm on one of the last modules and am hoping to have worked through the rest of the program by April. Though I'm pushing that idea back to May. I have about $320 left in my tuition, which is a lot of money to me right now but I thought it was worth the price to have an actual diploma.
Do you ever feel that all you're doing is complaining? Hmm, I wonder if I'm complaining.

i hope you have an awesome time at disney with your family! the weather's been kind of gross here latley, but hopefully it'll clear up soon
if you have a few hours while you're down here and you want to shoot a set, my boyfriend photojoe is the official sg photographer for florida, and i'm sure he would love to work with you if you're free! we've got quite a few cool locations and places that would be great for sets, so if you're down, you can message either he or i and hopefully we can work something out!
early congrats on being done with school soon!
xoxo
