Thanks for the tip. I know exactly what you are saying though. It's like anyone who remotely accepts a conservative ideal is immediately the enemy. If your white your a racist. If you have money your a neocon. If your Christian, your the cancer of society. I'm only half that, but it enough to get beat the hell up in a discussion. LOL

I like the Plano rifle and pistol cases, the hard plastic ones with molded foam rubber inside. They're nothing too fancy, but they keep your gun from getting scratched or banged up, and they satisfy the Illinois requirement for a gun being enclosed in a case (and unloaded) while being transported. And they're *way* less expensive than the nice gun cases you're talking about.

They make a lot of different kinds, but here are two cheap examples:
