In general... people exist in three variable shades at any given time:

Those who have lived;

Those who live;

Those who will live.

In the spectrum those who live and those who will live both want to live.

In contrast, those who have lived see living as inconsequencial. As a result, those who have live see things most clearly and most unclearly. Those that seem most clearly see life as being fufilled and could die. Those who see life most unclearly sensationalize or loathe life and want to die.

Those who will live see things clearly and unclearly. Those who see things clearly are prophets. Those who are consumed in pesimism and optimism including ideas of faith and condemnation see things unclearly.

Those who live see things clearly and unclearly. It is divided between those who consider the moment and those who are consumed in the moment.

Then there are those who have lived, live, and will live that believe that seeing isn't important at all.
