i heart ny.

bistro burgers. the japanese saki place on E 9th. the park. the museums. being the only white girl on the train. that i could walk around in a hoodie all day and tomorrow i will probably be in snow shoes. the brooklyn bridge. that the hip neighborhoods only stay hip for six months. that even though this town is so big you still run into people on the street every week. the noise. that karma is a boomerang in this town and anything will happen to you. how easy it is to shrug off the hard stuff. that the rest of this country thinks my hometown is "dirty."
that you can fall in love in nyc every minute of the day.

if i could marry a city i would, but since i can't i'm paying a little homage to the only stable thing in my life. my one true love: nyc.
