To be perfectly honest, I only came back to see if my subscription was still good & I fell in love all over again.
love <3 <3 <3 <3 sigh...
Well, maybe I'll give it another try...

Ok, I'm averaging about 1 to 2 comments/replys per night, but I'm getting there.
My brain is fried... It been a long (useless) week. smile

So try this story on for size.
I just finished reading Rydell's blog & how she was saying s%&* was hitting the fan so-to-speak in relationships. I think it's some kind of astrological conspiracy...

One of the girls I work with...

Hmm... poor girl, but people do snap. Hell I've had my fair share of unwarranted bouts of rage at little provocation, thankfully It doesn't happen very often when people are around, they just come home wondering who broke everything. Sometimes you just feel that urge to vent, and in the world we live in where people hear but don't listen, it usually turns into physical shows of frustration.

No conspiracy here, probably just human nature.
rdpixie:
That is so messed up. Sadly people just do the weirdest things sometimes. I don't think anyone will probably really understand what happened that night except him. That would put me off dating for a long while!

In the height of sobriety last night I suffered some drunken flirting and I am so there. Its horrid. Blah!

Hope you recover from partying soon!

Hey hey...
Well, I guess I've been slacking with the blog.
I only have a couple minutes, so quick run-down:
* I applied and interviewed for a new job
* I've been looking for interesting classes to keep my mind occupied
* I took a jewellery making class to add to my hobby collection
* I signed up for softball (super-tacky, but I'm trying to...

Ok. Book versus movie?

I have this rule in my life: If I read the book I will refuse to see the movie--and vice versa.

I keep this rule because I hate being disappointed by the visual interpretations of books that I actually found interesting & stimulating. This goes for the "artsy" stuff as well. Really, if you liked the one you will either be...

I luckily love bad movies which allows me to let some or a lot of things slide when watching films.
However, I'm also a bibliophile and will always choose the written word and my imagination over someone else's interpretation of imagery no matter how resplendent.

So I've been trying all week to find something to blog about, but my life is completey unremarkable right now. frown

Not boring per se, just with a lack of interest to the general public. Sort of "I went to work... Then I did this... Then I did this..." whatever

I figured if I just started typing something would come to me, but I guess I'll come...

Derby is awesome. The practice tonight was relatively mellow, and these flat-track girls have got to work a good deal harder to get up to speed and keep the turns tight... plus their practice was outdoors, where it was 105 degrees until dark--then it dropped down to 99. Sin City Rollergirls are hardcore!

I got a full half of my sleeve done Thursday--wrist to elbow. My flesh is very angry with me: sore, puffy, and tight, but it looks great. To me, anyway. At the practice rink, a girl ran up to me, pointed at my arm and said, "Oh my God, is that real?"

Are there lots of people sporting fake tattoos that wrap around their entire forearm? I mean, it's not like it's a rub-on tattoo of Count Chocula or something.

And hey, blogs don't have to be comprised of fun & amazing stuff. Your regular work week may seem mundane to you, but you should share anyway. It's social...

It is Saturday night and I've had too much to drink...
Coffee that is. surreal

I don't think I've ever been so NOT sleepy ever.
It's really easy to get sucked into the existential at this time of night--especially if alcohol or other reasonable facsimiles are not involved...

but I won't bore people with that...

I had a "band" reunion of sorts today (yes, I am...

Well, I spent the weekend learning how to install hardwood floors [not click-in laminate]. There is something amazingly fulfulling about affixing solid wood to the floor using really loud tools. smile It's not as difficult as I thought it would be, but I do respect people who do this for a living... damn, I'm sore! blackeyed

Is there something wrong with getting bored with academics and just...

I've done desk jobs and 'the trades' and I found that if I waited long enough, I would tire of the work either way. there is a common sentiment that back-breaking labor is good for the soul or noble or something, well that's only true if *you* feel it is everyday.Though wood floors are kinda fun, it's a bit like tetris. Anyway, It's up to you. If the degree and certs and other such papers allow you to do what *you* find fullfilling, then don't worry, be happy. Oh and, hi. smile
