and on the doorstep
i saw that i was blind
i'd forsaken
what was mine
what had mattered
mattered little now
we had shattered
apart somehow
...
the beat of the drum machine plays over and over in my head
i can hear my sister in the background yelling at me to answer the door
and i think to myself, listen
it's an angel

i'd forsaken
what was mine

mattered little now
we had shattered

it'd be great to finally meet you...one of these days.
i'm not real sure that i can make it to portland this weekend for linz's party OR raishawns birthday.
i'd wanna come real bad but i usually work weekends and have already asked for three off this month.
one for al's party last week, the prom weekend, and the weekend after when i'll be in town on the 24 for the catheters and riverboat gamblers show at the satyricon.
but i'm gonna give it a whirl anyway...
things look VERY bleak, but wish me luck anyway!
