it's hard to believe it's begun. it makes me ashamed...and scared. mostly for the ones i love. it's out of our hands now. all we can do is sit and watch. and wonder why. why can't we find another answer? because some people dont want to look for it. so many will perish, and be forgotten, and at the same time, never known. on the streets people chant for what they want most. peace, no war. if only they were being heard. if only someone could hear us. but our cries are muffled, and they are made not to matter. all they care about is destruction.
