only moments after walking through the door i still feel giddy. fireworks always make me feel like a little girl again. the rained brightly over the river tonight, what an amazing spectacle. i haven't seen lights that beautiful in a long time. i was surrounded by what were probably tens of thousands of people, amazing really. so many people gathering to listen to some blues and watch some fire in the sky. on my way home in a packed bus of 60 or so i overheard a kid, twenty-something threaten another kid, a man ordering his two little ones around, and a man telling a complete stranger that his wife had shot herself in the stomach. she'd been hit by a car and went through seven years of rehabilitation. at this point i wondered where the bus was, the driver was not calling out stops eventhough it was chaos. i am now home safely, and my cats are not really upset about the noises and crackles at all. my little birdie is still safe and sound. my cats haven't knocked his cage down yet....*knock on wood* so i'm still hoping for the best, they seem to be adjusting.
...all for now, i have to get up and go to work early tomorrow.....sleep well my friends for the night is upon us and the arms of sleep will cradle you close.

He'll be fine in time. Phantom doesn't even notice Juno anymore. Georgi will adjust. He just might take longer than the rest.
Hope you are well, monkey. Fireworks bring out that little kid in all of us.
