Gotta echo everybody else's sentiments. Watch your protein intake, watch your vitamins. Figure out what feels satisfying, so you don't miss the meat. Oh, and make sure you get other kinds of fats. Nuts, oils, that sort of thing. That really helps make you feel full, I found. And good luck!
Yeah, beans and peanuts. Peanut butter always helped me when I was craving protein. Also, find a really good vegetarian place and eat there all the time at first. Developing eating habits early on helped me when I went vegetarian.
