It's FREEZING in the lab and office right now. They turned the temperature waaaaay down yesterday because this morning they brought in 2 cadavers (yes, cadavers, as in dead bodies) for the anatomy students to cut up. My job today, amongst other things, is to monitor the temperature inside the little refridgerated room where they store the bodies in those drawer things. It has to stay at EXACTLY 35 degrees. The lab where the dissection occurs is at 50 degrees, and the office is at 55.
Because there are corpses around today, I get to wear a lab coat and a name tag with my picture on it so they know I work here and I'm not some necrophiliac or sicko looking to steal a body or something. I feel so official.
