I am going to work on my theory of how The human race has a pure mental state of Lesch Nyhan Disease.
What is it that causes fear exactly?
From observation and experiance its from something either unwanted or unknown impressing itself into our daily rituals.
A thing, so to speak, probing itself into our painstakingly created comfort bubbles, bursting them like overfilled balloons.
This immidiately throws us into a state of fear/confusion(as these two so often go hand in hand) scrambling to do whatever it takes to get back into the comfort zone
And with whatever caused this maledy we do one or some of the following:
Destroy it
Run from it
Ignore it
Accept it
Though with humans in general, its usually destroy it, b/c for us anything we fear can not under any circumstances be good. Wether its another religion, an animal, a group of people we never have met, art in a variety of forms, or even a side of your own self you have not experianced yet.
It amazes me to no end, how individuals, will be quick to say, I am understanding, I am open, I love change! Think how this world would be if every person who cried that actually meant it. Humans as a general do not truely like change, they just enjoy things they already know to be built upon, it is easier to grasp. It's an odd paradox. We want changes to "better" our lives, as long as we understand it, yet are fearful to the point of killing over anything that we are unsure of, and demand that nothing new happen.
I was not sure completly where I was going with this. perhaps ill continue later if this thought continues to enertain me.
