The flower and leaves on the crown seems like a new twist. I don't recall you including "nature" before. First, the figure with the more uplifted gaze/expression/posture. Now the crown sprouting plant life and a possibly upturned serenity on the face . . . Is it possible for an artist to become . . . (gasp!) . . . an optimist? ;^) Turning a new leaf? =^p (Yes, the pun was obvious and bad. I couldn't help it.)

lol @glass42 I think it matters on if you think of your self as a deep artists or a you let go and just paint. I got these plants for my studio (cactus and succulent.) They have been inspiring me to paint plants more in my work. The crowns seem to be my link to a new feeling or focus. Feels nice.
