In one month I'll be able to move into my new house (an old house new to me) after six+ months of being relatively transient. I'll have my furniture back, my summer clothes, and my son will have a proper room of his own.

I will also be able to crank up the AC (which I could use today).

Living in Brooklyn is pretty cool. I'm not really happy with the frequency of the R and D trains, but I'll live. I need better access to organic markets...

Looks like we got the house in Brooklyn. I can't wait to leave the Upper West Side.

Back in Seattle for a few days. The house closes on the 14th and I only have one more night here in my house.

We put in an offer in Brooklyn. Hopefully. they'll take it..

Okay, I've finally moved to the West Side, in one of Trump's buildings no less. It's a bit quieter than Brooklyn, but I'm still not that sure about it.

Unfortunately I have to move out of Brooklyn Heights to the upper West Side due to construction. I don't really like being stuck in corporate housing. I'd really like to find a reasonable place to buy in Brooklyn. Where the hell are these places?

Living in New York: so far so good.

Looks like I'll be moving the family to NYC. Kinda scary, but I guess I can make it work.

She left today on a Thelma and Louise style road trip back East. She'll be joining our son in a few days. I don't get to see him until later this month, but that's only for a few days and I have to go there. Kinda sucks.

At least I got to see Interpol tonight. They are a great live band.

Off to Amsterdam and Frankfurt....

My hand has been forced...not sure what it means, but I have rock on one side and a hard place on the other.

After about 9 years, we bought a new bed. It's that Tempur-pedic thing. It took us a few hours of trying things out, but we finally settled on one. Last time I bought something, pillow-tops were all the rage. Since then, I've learned to hate pillow tops.

Now we wait until Monday.
