Hmm. There's little chance in hell that I'll ever keep up with this but I'm sitting around bored right now so what the hell.
I took the LSAT a week or so ago, on the 3rd. It kind of psyched me out as I had taken a number of practice tests and knew what to expect and it all seemed just a little too easy when I finally got there. I started second-guessing myself because I felt I had to have missed something. Never actually changed an answer due to that, though, so I'm hoping for something in the mid 160s.
All of the law schools I've applied to have responded and are waiting for my LSAT scores. I should tell them to join the club, as I don't get my own score back until Jan 3. Bastards! It's a fucking scantron sheet, you can grade 500 per hour. Why the hell does it take a month? Anyway, I digress.
Stanford is still my #1 choice, followed by UT Austin and Berkeley. If I can't get in those I'll fall back on UCLA or USC. Assuming I bombed the test I also have applications out to UC Hastings and UC Davis as last resorts. But, given that I have everything else going for me, I can't imagine being rejected from 5 out of 5 schools. Anyways, wish me luck if anyone ends up reading this
I just can't wait to move on. My job isn't bad, isn't overly hard, just lacks satisfaction. I look forward to moving on from software design to practicing law. Kind of a far leap, but I'm excited about it. Alright, off to bed now.
