All kinds of bedlam as my sports-mad roomie is delighted that the Sox have won Huzzah! Little else to report except that I am valiantly baking away and getting the garden ready for winter. I think some of the old wndows i foound in the basement are about to become a cold frame....

Another long week draws to a close. After lots of home rehab, the place is actually looking close to being half-finished. Been making a lot of soup as I clean out the garden, which is always a pleasure. And then there's the big game this weekend. I know where I will be at 4pm GMT...

Got a good report from the doc's today; white cells are up so not too bad. Got to keep going back once a week for the next four weeks, but after that, might get back to only going in once a month again. So: Yay!

Off to Chicago at 6. Will be nice to get home.
Big thanks today to Manchester City for offing Chelsea for us; thanks also to Birmingham City for holding the Scum.
We're now five points clear after disemboweling Aston Villa today 3-1. All is good...except thqat Dundee United still can't win a goddamn game. Sigh.

That was definitely rough, but oh well, we get another go-round Sunday night so you and Lis can cheer again on the National stage.

What has been really fun has been the past two Wednesdays after work. 5 on 5 flag football at our stadium. One of the things that makes it all worth it.

Any new ink? I won my fantasy baseball league (with one of my best friends) which puts a bonus of 4 bills in my pocket (and 4 in his). I'm thinking it may translate into some work on my right shoulder. Sent Seth an e-mail but haven't heard back from him yet.

Getting tired after getting home last night at 3 and then having a full day.

Maybe he did leave already. I knew he was eventually moving to Spain, but I thought he said it would be over a year from the time we talked (which was last January).
