These weren't the unattainable and unrealistic visions of "perfection" we all saw on TV and in movies every day...these were beautiful young women bearing their all in a realistic way.
Now, I can't help but notice that photosets are photoshopped to all hell and back. Blemishes erased, Elizabeth Taylor filters used...you name it. Might as well be looking at an issue of Maxim.
