I've been buying waaaaay too much!
Been having mad spending sprees on eBay. Damn! I've forgotten what a real shop looks like!
I also ordered an incredible quantity of swag from the SG store, and got the first item yesterday (a poster)...
That smoking jacket! Fantastic! I love the decadence of the 30's... All you need now is an extra-long cigarette holder and a martini. (Or a Playboy Bunny. Perhaps that should be an SG Bunny?)
Anyway, there's a Midlands group on the way - let me know if you're interested.
We're organizing an SG gig in either Birmingham or Nottingham... (Or if do it often, then we could alternate). Anyway, I'm rambling. I'm not far from Bedford myself - but the mass of Midlanders seems to be around Brummy-land and Nottingham/Leicester...

What was the most traumatic episode of your childhood?
For me, despite the parental alcoholism, and various other nastiness, I think the most traumatic thing that ever happend was when Optimus Prime died in the Transformers movie. I still get a bit bleary eyed when I see it now.

I can't believe he gave the matrix to Ultra Magnus , he was always "just a soldier".
So he's standing there, surrrounded by these pigs, these hypocrites. He's standing there, his arm pointed at the ground, angled out from the side of his leg, and he's staring quite calmly at his empty palm as if he's waiting for a dove to fly from his sleeve. Only there's barely room in his sleeves for his arms. You can tell by the way his...

Top 10 things I have learned this week:
10. Lubricant is vital, oh and that "La dernier tango a paris" Butter thing? Doesn't work.
9. Fish doesn't really count as meat, so I can have a king prawn passanda when I get this week's ruby.
8. Pancakes are 10x nicer with mashed up fruit in the batter.
7. Certain PS2 Games are much more fun...

But Kill Bill 2 had killings of a higher calibre. And acting too...
A heart that's full up like a landfill
A job that slowly kills you
Bruises that won't heal
I'll take a quiet life
A handshake, carbon monoxide
No alarms and no surprises please.

I left SGUK cuz of the 'London hardcore' and all their cliquiness, it annoys the fuck outta me, so I couldn't take it any more.
Thanks for the concern anyway

If life is the worst thing that happens to you today, then you've got off lightly.
this has been a public service announcement by someone who's lost the plot.

Hey hun, i needed a new image for the UKSG group so i kinda stole to FCUK style one that you did for SGUK, is that ok?
Right. First of all, Apologies for not posting in anyone's journals, not speaking to anyone on MSN and generally not being around, but things have been absolutely fucking mental-busy here over the last week or so. I've only been able to get on for little bursts. Anyways, It's unlikely to get better anytime soon, cos the boss is going on holiday in a week, so...

Have passed. The minutes/
Become as seconds and/
I know you said/
I'd never get this far/
I feel old already/
Though the smile on my face/
Is as real as the day you left.

So, this friday I took ecstacy for the first ever time, and it was kind of a revelation for me.
On friday night I had to work for a change, and I was on with Gareth, who is one of the other guys who works at my shop. He's about my age, and we get on pretty well, although we'd never been out before. Well,...
