I hope this is actually helping you, so far the ladies who have answered have had vastly different responses. Which actually proves @chef's point about lurking and finding what works best for each individual person

@lillyth thank you for your response. And yes, everyone's replies while somewhat different are also similar in certain points. A couple of you mentioned being desensitized to things which I guess you all take as a good thing being able to just brush stuff of which is okay but to me it also says to me that ya'll have had to put up with enough to make you desensitized. I'd rather not attribute to that. But learning the differences between people is important too.
