A friend and I were just discusing pubic hair. I said that pubes are in like beards are in, she disagrees.... Thoughts?

As a bearded fellow and a lover of lady fur, I wish pubic hair was as in fashion as beards. If only most women had your same opinion.

Have you heard the tale of the Victorian writer and art critic John Ruskin? He got married to a great beauty, but, on their wedding night, was so shocked by her pubic hair, he ran away, and the marriage was never consummated. Prior to that, Ruskin's only encounter with the nude female form had been through Classical sculpture, and paintings, in which pubic hair was never shown, and the assumption is that Ruskin thought that smooth was the norm. I'm sure that some of this tale is apocryphal, but the Victorians were weird people. The first few girls I slept with all had fun fur - this was in the early 1980's, but as time went on, the razors came out. As long as the hair is not terrifyingly long and unkempt, [I believe there was an 18th century female pirate who used to braid hers], I have no problem with it, although, conversely, I'm not keen on the 'stubbly' stage. Anyhow, I think every bit of you is gorgeous. xxxxx
